I maintain a fairly large classroom library. Sometimes the school library can seem very overwhelming to students. This is my way of giving them a smaller selection to choose from. Students may check out one book at a time. To do this, they write the name of the book and sign their name in our Classroom Book Log. To return the book, they simply put it back in the book box and cross off their name. My library operates similar to the school library. If the book is damaged or not returned, the child will need to replace it.
