About Mrs. Webb
Welcome! It is hard to believe this is my seventeenth year at Monroe! I spent six years in the junior high hall, and this will be my eleventh year in fourth grade. Four of those years were in a self-contained classroom and for the last seven, I have taught only reading and language arts.
I am originally from Rock Island, Illinois. I graduated from Western Illinois University, where I met my husband, Joe. We just celebrated our sixteenth anniversary. We have two children. Dylan is in eighth grade and Madelyn is in sixth.
In 2013, I graduated with my Masters in Integrating Technology into the Classroom. I played the roles of teacher, student, mom, and wife all at once! It was a long twenty months, but I made it through. I believe in being a life-long learner and technology is one area that is ever evolving. I want to teach my students how to safely use technology and introduce them to programs that will engage and enhance their education. I absolutely loved my program and learned a great deal. I am currently taking a class on Reaching and Teaching Gifted Students in the Regular Classroom.
